Forever Yours, My Love

Forever Yours, My Love

I find myself in the dark
Think of a time
love struck my heart

Floated in slow,
like a butterfly dancing in the meadow

I swear,
when she said hello my knees buckled,
my smile sparkled

Straining to see her eyes
I flipped through the pages of her time
Its this kind of love that has me stuck in a world surrounded by wifi

Poetry collided, it melded into a duet like it was making love under a sunset

Words fused as one, flowing lines, creating verses, spinning the world on its axis

She wanted a kiss, I craved that bliss

If only the matrix were real, transporting me from the surreal, so I can feel

To know the touch I speak-of and whisper, forever yours, my-love

Dream After Dreams

Dream After Dreams

The first time I saw her face I fell
Fell into a feeling that petrified
Petrified, holding me still
Still my heart pounded, the echo swelled
Swelled my head leaving me puzzled
Puzzled by this charge surging through
Through, every nerve now tingling limbs
Limbs, begin to twitch, urging steps
Steps, towards courage in this moment
Moment to speak, to greet, to meet
Meet, but for a second that would hold
Hold for an eternity if I didn’t say
Say, if I may, unless otherwise engaged
Engaged to decline, to dine, if you will
Will, this hearts beating wish to reset
Reset my night, in the company of you
You, caused me to stop
Stop she said, tilting her head, wide eyes
Eyes that dug deep into mine
Mine fell in a gaze, careful to hear
Hear, her voice as I crossed my fingers
Fingers clench, tearing at the seams
Seams of a pillow case, embracing a dream
Dream after dreams, a reoccurring dream

Above La Lunas’ Glow

Above La Luna’s Glow

Above la Luna’s glow
Eyes cast beyond stars
Darkness consumes
All, of a lonesome heart
Wingless blackbird
Stranded on earth
Rooted to ground
Misery found

Above la Luna’s glow
A beacon pulls
Connecting soul and mind
Sucking the energy dry
Eyes shaded black like coal
But shines with a glow
Bright as the moon
An onyx one

Above la Luna’s glow
Waits, a far away home
Ferryman journeys
Collecting passengers
Scarred with the mark
A ticket to ride
Galaxy’s past
Light years away

Above la Luna’s glow
Fades in, new dawn
Witness, the rising sun
Still, planet earth
Counting the minutes
Ticking and tocks
Passing of time
Lost, lost, still lost

Above la Luna’s glow
Returns the yearning pull
Glides the razors edge
A mark left by a previous scar
The ferryman nods
Opens the door
Taking a soul
To a world unknown

Above la Luna’s glow
One will never know
What lies beyond the known
In death, dreams may come true
To close the eyes
For the very last time
A silence grows
As the final breath blows

Below A Maple Tree

poems written

poems read

below a maple tree

in autumn red

drops in time

seasons leave

below a maple tree

of falling leaves

stories told

on land and sea

below a maple tree

words do see

battles lost

battles won

below a maple tree

a tale of one

pure of heart

a shinning knight

below a maple tree

day and night

a quest for love

to fill a hole

below a maple tree

becomes whole

flowing locks

shimmers with sun

below a maple tree

lights up a hum-hmmm

weak are words

penned in gibberish

below a maple tree

a poet illiterate

a knockout punch

true love found

below a maple tree

soulmates bound

Off Into Space

Truth is a peaceful feeling that brings joy and hurt to our souls

A lie is a temporary escape from the inevitable, truth

Imagine saying what your heart really feels

Free to express ones truth

No matter the cost

No matter the loss…

~ ~ ~

Off Into Space

Tired eyes come from passing time

Broken hands scarred toiling the grind

Years piled high, sinking the mind low

Few reap rewards, the masses lay in tow

The world is dying in part by mans hands

Truth, everything dies, it’s in “gods plans”

No matter the faith, one thing in common

Dust to dust travels the interplanetary starman

Off into space, the end floats to nothing

It’s the story of our lives telling something

Now, while we live on this, OUR planet

To die with respect you must live decent
